Wow! That was like a bucket of cold water in the face and a swift jolt back to the reality of Spartan Fit training.
Today's workout looks easy enough on paper. The usual warm up followed by a combination of body weight upper and lower body exercises to a total count of 120 reps, plus some hang time.
Asking your body to take time under tension is a game changer.
Momentum has it's place and can sometimes help with the completion of a task. But not today. Everything in today's workout was about challenging my mental stamina to stay in the moment and finish the task when everything in my body was telling me to get out. Every exercise was a test of physical strength and mental stamina.
It is done, and I feel fine.
I know tomorrow I will be stronger.
